THE ACCIDENT IN THE WOODSTOCK MINE.

[by telegraph.— CORRESPONDENT.] Paeroa, Monday. A coroner's inquest was held to-day touching the death of the young man Patrick Wall, who was killed in tho Woodstock Company's mine on Saturday. The evidence adduced substantiated the record of the sad affair published in to-day's Herald, and the jury broughb in a vordlot to the effect that deceased met his death by going back to tho face of tho stope under the supposition that his fuso had not takon fire. The remains of deceased were to-day conveyed to the Thames for interment.
