A WOMAN BURNED TO DEATH.
[Blf TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION,] - InveßvAKGill, Thursday. A most lamentable acoidenb occurred yesterday to l.ucy Williams, wife of a labouring man at Duck Creek, on the Bluff Road. She was cooking at an open fire, and reaching a pan her skirt took fire. She was immediately in a blaze. Her ohildren ran out screaming, and attracted the attention of the father, who was working some distance away. When he reached the house he found his wifo on her hands and knees, her clothing burnt off, and frightfully injured. She died this forenoon. The poor creature was only 36, and leaves a family of ten.
