RESULT OF THE INQUIRY.

Wellington, Tuesday. Thf Government Printing Office Commission report has boen received by the Government from the Governor, but is not yet available for publication. Ono result is, that tho services of three of the permanent staff of the printing office who brought charges against the Govorninent Printer havo been dispensed with from Monday next.
The men who have been dismissed from tho permanent stall in connection with the reoont inquiry into the charges against tho Government Printer are compositors, namely, J. Carson, G. McNamara, and C. M. Jenkins. They were the men who formulated tho charges against the Government Printer, Carson lias been connected with the printing office for a period of 25 years, MoNamara for 23 years, and Jenkins for some 12 or 14 years. The Cabinet has not yet decided whether to publish the report or not, Jft is undorstood that it exonerates the Government Printer from the more serious charges. A meeting of employees of the Government printing office is to be hold to-morrow ovening in connection with the dismissal of three of their number, consequent upon the report of the Royal Commission. The Government have finally docided not to make the report of the commission public until the House meets.
