A MYSTERIOUS AFFAIR.
[BY TEf.EQRAPH.—PIIItSS ASSOCIATION.] CumsTCHtmcH, Monday, A sensational affair occurred at Windsor, about tlireo miles from Christchurcb, A woman reported to the police that her husband, James Alexander Robertson, threatened to shoot her and burn tho houso down. Shortly afterwards word was received that the houso was on fire, and when the police arrived it was burnt down. A shot was hoard in the neighbourhood, but nothing could be soon of the man. Search was kept up all day yesterday, but so far Robertson has not been found. He is a married man with seven children.
