Till-; LATE MR. E. T. GILLON. An appreciative memoir of this wellknown journalist appears in the Post, It was at first intended to give Mr. Gillon a Masonic funeral, but it was found that his last wishes were opposed to such a display. The following paragraph leaves no clioice in this matter" In accordance with the deceased's expressed wish, his obsequies will be of a simple nature. Mr. Gillon always deprecated Masonic displays in public, and exalted as was his own rank in the craft, lie preferred that no exception should bo made in his case, being content to live in the momorics of his brethren." The local lodges will, however, attend the funeral without regalia.
