The report of the directors of the City and Suburban Tramway Company gives the total receipts at £18,142 and expenses at £15,007, leaving a balance of £2234. As the year's interest was £2240 there has been a loss of £5 153 on the year. The numbor of passengers carried was 2,751,432 aguinst 2,004,480 in the previous year.
