SERIOUS ACCIDENT AT WESTPORT.
(BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Westpobt, Thursday. A serious accident happened this afternoon to Mr. J. J Moynihan, a well-known local solicitor. He was riding along the Nine Mile road with Dr. Willis when his horse bolted. Dr. Willis, on coming up near Moynihan's horse found it riderless. Returning, the doctor found Moynihan lying beside the road, having been thrown off the horse. The injured gentleman was conveyed to town, when an examination revealed a serious injury to the spine. The sufferer lies in a critical condition. A gloom was cast over the town by the occurrence, as Moynihan is popular with all classes.
