The Sharemarket:— Cambria, sellers, Is ; May Queen, sellers 4s 6d, buyers 4s 3d ; Alburnia, sellers 2a ; Victoria, sellers, 6d; Talisman, sales, 7s lOd, Bs, 7s 9d, sellers 8s ; Bonanza, sales Is 6d, sellers Is 6d ; Retreat, sellers 9d. Albdrnia.— starb was made to send quartz down to-day from Dixon's reef to the Company's battery, and the manager hopes to commence crushing on Wednesday.
May Queen. — Nice colours and dabs of gold are being seen in the quartz coming bo hand from Clarken's leader at Nos. 2 and 3, levels, and at each point the prospocts are encouraging enough for expecting parcels of picked stone at almost any moment.
Moanataiari.— were resumed by this company to-day upon the Golden Age, Dawn of Hope, and Jones' reeefs in the upper sections of the mine, and also the extension of the crosscut ab 150 feet level. The battery, however, will not commence the treatment of quartz until the middle of the week.
Victoria.— What is believed to be the seaward slide has been intersected in the drive upon No. 1 reef at No. 4 level, consequently the further extension of the drive will be discontinued for tho present, and instead a start will be made to rise upon the reef at two different points where gold was found whilst opening, up the drive some distance back from the present face.
Coromandel, Monday.
Leggk's Tribute.— to crush this morning 6451bs specimens and some 20 tons general stuff. An enormous return is expected. The company have . resumed operations in Legge's tribute, getting very rich gold in the winze. They have cub a large reef in the crosscut from the shaft, and some good specimens are to hand.
Marmion. —A start to work has been made with four men to prospect the reefs.
