The committee of the Takapuna Jockey Club have arranged with Mr. George Ellis for six of Gray's starting machines, which are to be erected in time for the Summer Meeting. Mr. Morrin yesterday shipped to Dunedin by the Takapuna the St. Leger— Bangle filly, Hotchkiss— filly, and the St. Leger— Puwerewere colt. •
A Wellington Press Association telegram, of yesterday's date, states that > Mr. L. D. Nathan's horses Three Star, St. Valentine, Campania, and Stepfeldt have been scratched for all engagements at the Wellington Racing Club's Summer Meeting.
