THE FATAL ACCIDENT NEAR ROTORUA.

[BY TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Rotorca, Thursday. An inquest concerning the death of Denis Mahoney was held yesterday at the railway works, near where the accident occurred, before Mr. C. Malfroy, acting coroner, and a jury of six, of which Mr. D. Allen was foreman. Several workmen gave evidence to the effoct that no blame was attached to anyone. A. verdict of "Accidental death" was returned. Mr. McLean, the contractor, has wired to Mrs. Mahonoy, offering to have the remains of her late husband conveyed to Auckland free of charge.
