THE LITTLE BARRIER ISLAND.
[by TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Thursday. A notice appears in the Gazette that negotiations have boon entered into for acquiring the Little Barrier Island, and that ib shall not be lawful for any person other than Her Majesty to purchase or acquire from the native owners any rignt, title, share, or interest in the island until this notice shall have been formally withdrawn.
