The agricultural statistics for the colony show that in 1892 there were 140,434 acres broken up, but not under crop, a decrease of 70,05.") on tho previous year. Holdings had increased from 38,083 to 41,224. The estimated produce was : — Wheat, 10,257,738 bushels; oats. 11,009,000; barley. 688.683 Wheat shows an increase of 4,534,128, oats of 1.001,984, and barley a decrease of 70,150 bushels. The potato yield is put at 162,046 tons, a decrease of 075 tons. The total area under crop was 1,318,890 acres, against 1,285.768 acres. The return of cattle was 746,533 head.
