ARREST OF A BINKRUPT.
[BY TELEGRAPH. — I'HPS ASSOCIATION.] i Oam.v.u, Wednesday. Joseph Dicks, lately latfllord of the Waltham Arms Hotel, Sydenham, was arrested on the express train today jn a warrant charging him with endeavouring to abscond from his creditors, ffe had been adjudicated a bankrupt to diy at Christchurch, and a warrant was immediately issued for his arrest, which was accomplished by Detective O'Brien ajd Sergeant O'Gracly. Dicks had about £1100 on him, and also a quantity of valuable ewellery.
