DIVIDEND. OF FIVE PER CENT. HALF-YEAR'S PROFIT £59,500. Press Association.—Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. London, July 24. The directors of the Bank of New Zealand declare a dividend of 5 cent. The balance-sheet shows that the profits for the half-year amount to £59,500. Of this amount £18,000 has been carried forward, £20,000 placed to the reserve fund, and the remainder absorbed in the payment of dividend.
