I understand that the purchase of a ) block 'called the r Pohonui o Tene, 25,000 acres, in* Rangitikei district, is likely to be acquired in - the course of a week or two. The motet plains, the famous Marino block, is to be tapped so as to give access 'with a road ' leading from ; Wanganui to Field's track. "This, will enable produce ;to - be carted from the Murimotu plain to Wanganui. • ,
