THE MONT ELECTION.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Manaia, Thursday. Mr. Bruce, candidate for Egmonfc, addressed the electors last night. He declared himself strongly opposed to the present Government. He said ho had been requested to stand by a large number of electors, but even now he was willing to retire in favour of a local candidate.
