AN ILLEGAL ART UNION.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Ciiiustciiurch, Saturday. Three of tho promoters of the art union connected with the popular sports on Anniversary Day have been summoned to appear at the Resident Magistrate's Court on a charge of disposing of tickets by which authority was given to have an interest in a lottery for money prizes. Some of thoso tickets were sold by a bootmaker, and gave intimation that the winner of the first'prize would receive a present of money. When it was discovered that these tickets were an infraction of the law, they were withdrawn.
