NEW ZEALAND TRADES UNIONS.
PROPOSED NATIONAL COUNCIL. [BY - TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Sunday. The various unions affiliated to the Wellington Council were recently asked to express an opinion with reference to tho proposal to form a National Council for New Zealand. Seven have decided in favour of the scheme, and three against. Three unaffiliated bodies are also opposed. Seven unions have yet to give an opinion.
