AN AUDACIOUS ROBBERY.
[BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Christciiurch, Friday. This afternoon, while Mr. Turner, seedsman, was serving some customers, a young man of gentlemanly appearance walked in, and after sampling some bags of grass seed went into a room behind the shop where tha safe was. He came out in a few minutes, spent a few minutes in the shop, and went out. Mr. Turner's suspicions were not aroused, but on going into the back room he found that £40 had been taken from the safe, which was open. There is no trace of the thief.
