News has been received of the death of the Hon. Guy Dawnay, who was killed by a buffalo while on a hunting expedition in Maissailand. He was a brother of the present Viscount Downe, and formerly member for the North Riding of Yorkshire in the House of Commons.

Sydney, March 29. _ The body of a girl named Lavinia Dines, who died recently, has been exhumed, as there was a suspicion that death was due to malpractice. It was found that the uterus had been removed after death. The startling disclosure presents somewhat similar features to those connected with the death of the woman Reilly on the 10th instant, and in which case a verdict of murder was returned against some person or persons unknown. A young man named Jeffrey accidentally shot his sister, and finding that she was likely to lose her life, committed suicide.
