A REFLECTION ON THE POLICE.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Christchurch, Thursday. In consequence of the destruction of glass in gas lamps and other property by larrikins, the city authorities are contemplating appointing a private detective to watch tho streets at night, as very few offenders have been detected by the police.
