Wanaka, s.s., Meads, from the South. Passengers: Miss Briggs, Mr. and Mrs. Bristol, Messrs. Nathan, Wignan, Bantes, Scotland, McGlashan, and 3 steerage. — Union S.S. Co., agents. DEPARTURES. Glenelg, s.s.. Norburv, for New Plymouth. Passengers: Messrs. Shearer, Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Brown.A. Barnes, agent. IMPORTS. Per s.s. Wanaka: 1 trunk, IOS hides, 6 bales skins, 61 sacks potatoes, 1 horse, and 13 packages.
The Northern Co.'s s.s. Glenelg, for !New Plymouth, took her departure at three o clock yesterday, two hours later than the advertised time, being detained through an accident which happened at the wharf, and which is reported in another column. The Union Co.'s s.s. Wanaka, Captain Meads from the South, arrived at 7.45 yesterday morning, with freight and passengers as above.
