:: TO THE EDITOR. U ' ' Sib, Your article v upon • railways this morning shows the uncertainty of results. Vlr. Vaile's scheme has been • so long before :he public, and numbers aro favourable to it, while many have their doubts ;, as to its results. The Kaipara',railway would be a favourable portion of our railways on which •o give Mr. Vaile's. scheme a trial. - It is a -line by itself, and could be tested fairly for results, and would not be a serious matter either way.
