THE RAILWAY DISASTER.
LATER PARTICULARS. [press association.] New York, October 12. In the railway accident in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, it was a Catholic excursion train, divided into live sections, which by some means collided. Fifty of the cars were telescoped, and the fourth section of the train was thrown off the rails and down the embankment into the river. New York, October 14. It has been elicited that the driver of one of the excursion trains, which collided in Pennsylvania on the 11th, was asleep at the time of the accident.
