THE COLD FIELDS.
- -• - Observer.—A general meeting of the shareholders of the Observer Gold Mining Company was held yesterday afternoon if 'hree o'clock at the ollice of the secretary, Insurance Buildings. After confirmation of the minutes fcho retiring directors were reelected with the exception of one, absent from the colony, whose place was filled by Mr. 11. C. Bell. Sundry accounts were then passed, and the meeting ended.
