PUBLIC WORKS STATEMENT.
[BY TELEGRAPH.SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT.]
Wellington, Monday. The Minister for Public Works commenced the preparation of his Statement to-day. The data is all to hand, and only its principal features require the.sanction of the Cabinet. It was current that it would be delivered next week, but I understand that is uncertain, being contingent upon political eventualities.
