THE WESTPORT COAL TRADE
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION. ] WESTroRT, Tuesday. Mr. W. Robertson, who has come here from New South Wales to examine the Ngakawau coal leases on behalf of a syndicate who intend to purchase, has completed his examination, and is understood to be favourably impressed with the property. The success of these negotiations means a great expansion of the local coal trade.
