A MISSING CUTTER.
We learn that the well-known cutter Henry, the property of Mr. Hodgson, Parnell, has been missing from her moorings in Mechanic's Bay since Wednesday midnight. The boat had on board about £30 worth of stores, and was in readiness to sail for Mercury Bay. Her master had left her at anchor at about seven in the evening, and when ho returned some four hours later she had disappeared. It has been suggested that owing to an insufficient amount of chain being paid out when she was left at low tide, she may have lifted her anchor and drifted away; but if such were the case she would not likely have gone far. Mr. Hodgson, her owner, started in search of the missing boat yesterday, but as he had not returned lsist evening no further news is known. In the face of the heavy sentences recently dealt out to the robbers of the yacht Malua, it seems unlikely that anyone should have stolen the cutter from her moorings.
