Mr. Cotton's Snap Shot, 83t 41b (McDonald) ... 1 Mr. Hobbs' Jack, 7st lllbs (Dodd) ... 2 Mr. McLean's St, Ives, 7st 2lbs (Baddicombe) 3 Captain Webster, La Hose, Silvermark, Carmenne, Jealousy, and Stufel also ran. St. Ivei came in first by a neck, but a protest was entered by Snap Shot's owner on the ground of crossing, and the stake# were awarded to Snap Shot. Dividend, £4 18s 6d. Hunt Club Cup, of 85sovs, Two miles
and a half. Mr. Coatee' May Boy, list Slba (EL Gourlay, jun ) 1 Mr. Jones' Coryphee, lOat 31ba (M. McCallum) 2 Mr. Rutherford's Ravenswood, 12st Sib (W. Kerr) ... 3 Dame, Golden Butterfly, Nero, Glen, and All Fours also ran. May Boy took the lead after about a mile had been covered, and was never beaten. Time, ooiins 58secs. Dividends, £18 14s and £28 14i. Gleu fell, and Mr Pelhaua Jones received a rather severe shaking.
