[rebter's telegram.] London, July 16. Sir G. Berry has addressed a despatch to the Foreign Secretary, inquiring the intentions of France in regard to the New Hebrides, and requesting his Lordship to ascertain when the islands will be evacuated. The latest information regarding the New Hebrides indicates that the question is in abeyance, fresh proposals from France being looked for shortly.
