[BY TELEGRAPH. —FBESS ASSOCIATION. J . Christchtjkch, Friday. Messrs. Weston and Allan Holmes. report favourably to His Honor tie Acting Chief Justice upon the legal attainments of the following candidates for admission,to New Zealand Courts :—J. W. Pennefather, barrister, admitted elsewhere ; Richard, Butt, and Galbraith, solicitors, admitted elsewhere ; Levie and Bnckland, colonial students, as barristers ; Gribbon, Skerrett, Kirk, Kennery, Haul tain, Franklin, Moorhonse, Sinclair, Dignan, Doubleday, Halladay, Richmond, Milne, and Stanford, also* colonial students, as solicitors. The last two gentlemen, who claim to hold the degree of LL.B., were' examined merely in Mew Zealand law and practice. .
