Sharemarket.—Bright Smile, sellers 2s 6d, buyers 2a; Dart, sellers sa; Deep Level Cross, sellers 3s; Hand of Friendship, buyers 3s; Imperial, buyers 33s ; New Find, aellera 9s ; Colonist, 7s Bd. Caledonian.—No. 2 shaft was opened and the wall in No. 1 level taken down, today. A great quantity of steam issued forth at first, but has now abated. There ia no indication of fire, but thetjground is still hot. • *agjjss Deep Level Cro?s.—The winze in the hangingwall leader is down 40 feet. The lode is four or five inches wide, and dabs of gold were seen last night. An excellent well mineralised sandstone country at 640 feet level.
