A meeting o£ the Wellington.Rugby Union was held to-night ,to consider the letter fronr the Auckland Union as to whether Wellington claimed the recent football , match with Auckland, and if. so whether they would be willing'to refer the matter to the Southern Unions for their , opinions. The • meeting decided that Wellington certainly, claimed the match, but were unwilling, to refer, the question to. the" Southern. - Unions. It-was however, to refer, it to the Rugby Union in TSn'gland. ~.' ' '
