WELLINGTON. December 18.—Kiwi, from the East Coast; Kennedy, from Nelson. Sailed : S.a. Arav/ata, for Melbourne, via tbe South ; Hawea, for Picton and Nelson ; s.s. Omapere, for Auckland, via the East Coast; s.s, Mabinapua, for Westport and Greymouth. Cleared : Pleione, ship, Renant, for London—full'cargo, chiefly wool* also 1000 cases of preserved meat. LYTTELTON. December 7.—Arrived : Wild Wave, from Hokitika. Sailed: Waitaki, for Timaru ; Wairoa, ship, for London, with full cargo, wool and sundries; Fawn, for Kockhampton via Havelock. December 8. —Arrived : Anno Main, barque, from Liverpool, Captain Popham,lo9 days out; Decembo 10.—Sailed : S.s, Mabinapua, for Dunedin. Arrived: Thurso, barque, from Calcutta, 65 days out. December 22. —Arrived* Barque Cingalese, Raddon, from Calcutta, Sailed : S.s. Wakatipu, for Port Chalmers; s.s, Wakatu, for Wellington and *Kaikora; Lizzie Guy, for Hokitika. A ship was signalled this morning, and is supposed to be the Dallam Tower from Calcutta. PORT CHALMERS. December 7.—Arrived : Tarraow, from Manukau; Moa, from Kaipara. Sailed : Sorrento, for London. Amongst the passengers are the Hon. Mr. and Mrs. Wood. Neurus, barque, for Newcastle. December 11.—Arrived : Mahinapun, from the West Coast: Cauterbury, Captain McMillan, from London, September 20. The Canterbury brings 45 passengers, all well. She spoke the Perthshire (bound to Wellington), the Hurunui (to Lyttolton), and the Border Chief (from Auckland to London). December 17. — Arrived, to-day : Loch Cree, Mount Lebanon, and from Newcastle.; Mary King, from Kaipara; Seabird, from Hokianga; Wild Wave, from Hobart; a.s. Rotorun, from Port Chalmers; Wakatu, from Kaikoura. Sailed, yesterday: Pleiades, ship, for London* G. M. Tucker and City of Bombay, for Newcastle ; Celestia, for Westport; Sarah and Mary, for Greymouth; s.s. Mahinapua, s.s. Omapere, and h.s. Hawea, for Wellington. The Splendid, whaling barque, has left again on her whaling cruise. December 20.—Arrived : Elizabeth, barque, from Portland, Oregon. December 21.- Arrived- City of Delhi, from Calcutta; Examiner, from Greymouth. Sailed : S.s. Hawea, for Port Chalmers; s.s Ringarooma, for Wellington. December 15. —Sailed : Moa, brig, for Whangaron. December 18.—Arrived : Pax, brigantine, from Mauritius; Loch Dee, barque, Captain Black, from London (September 11). Sailed : S.s. Wanaka, for the North ports. Passengers.—For Lyttelton : Mr. C. A ship, believed to bo the Hurunui, from London for Lyttelton, passed north to-day. December 19. —Arrived : Candidate, Captain Lawronson. from Liverpool (September); Southern Cross, s.s., from the North. ,Sailed : Stella, for Southern lighthouses ; Mormon, for Auckland ; Don Diego, for Maiden Island; Matliew, barque, for the North. TORT CHALMERS. December 26. —Arrived : Jasper, barquentino, from Mauritius ; s.a. Mahinapua, from tbe West Coast ; Mary Ogilvie, from Greymouth ; Nelson, ship, Captiin Bannatyne, from Glasgow, on September 22 ; Victor, barque, Captain Forbes, from Hong Kong, on October 17. Sailed yesterday : S.s. Hawea, for tbe North. During the passage of the Victor, the steward, a coloured man, and a native of St. Vincent, dropped dead in the cabin. He had been complaining a little previously. Tho Nelson has 34 ferrets on board for tho Government. TIMARU. December 17. — S.s. Kangaroo, from Westport; Waitaki, from Akaroa. Sailed: Waitaki, for Dunedin ; Sea Toller, for London, with a carco of wool, tallow, and wheat, to tho value of £34,344.
