THE SMALL-POX IN VICTORIA.
[PER S.S. JU.HAMBBA, AT THE BLUFF.] Melbourne, January 14. PMUC interest during the past week has centred in the eases of small-pox at the Quarantine Station, Point Nepean. No fresh cases have occurred duriiig the past two days. The only ono suffering serious symptoms is Maxy Cleary, who is very ill. Additional police have been sent to the station to ensure the observance of the quarantine regulations. The doctor is confident of being able to prevent the spread of the disease. Every comfort is furnished. Cricket and tennis materials have been sent. Every possible precaution is being taken against the introduction of small-pox, either by sea or overland. from Sydney.
