Albert-street, from the wharf to Queen-street, is under water, and a large portion of Brownstreet. The Waiotahi and Karaka creek viaducts threaten to burst the banks, in fact m many places the water is running over the itter. As yet there is no sign of the rain ceasing. Serious damage is feared.
