THE ENGLISH GRICKETERS. Sydney, December 9. The cricket match between the English team and eleven of New South Wales was commenced here to-day. The weather was fine and the attendance good. The -wicket was dead. The English -went first to the wickets, and when the stumps were drawn for the day had put together 235 runs for the loss of only live wickets. Barlow was not out for 71 ; Selby was caught and bowled for 56 ; Ulyett was bowled for 47. SIR. H PARKES. Sydney, December 9.
