ELECTIONS NOTES.

Mr. W. L. JRees has published an intimation that he will address the electors of Auckland City North in the Theatre Royal this evening at eight o'clock.

Thiß evening Dr. Wallis addresses the electors of City West in St. James'-hall at eight o'clock. At eight o'clock this evening Mr. R. Monk will address the electors of Parncll in St. Sepulchre's school-room, Symonds-street.

Sir George Grey intimates that he will address the electors of Franklin North in the Public-hall, Otahuhu, on the evening cf Tuesday next, and on Wednesday at Papakura.

Mr. S. Luke addressed a meeting of electors at the Flat Bush school-house on Monday evening, November 2S. Notwithstanding the very unfavourable weather there were some 2G or 27 persons present. Mr. McDougall, one of the candidates for the Napier seat, last night addressed the electors, and received a vote of thanks. He ; stands in the radical interest. ' At a meeting at Cambridge, Mr. Johns read telegrams from Sir George Grey, expressing satisfaction at his candidature. In the course of his address, Mr. Johns referred to the " Spendthrift Grey Government." A meeting of Sir George Grey's working committee was held in the Albert-hall yesterday evening. There was a large attendance, and the chair was occupied by Mr. Sims. The report of the committee was satisfactory, and general expression was made at the progress being made. This evening a meeting of Mr. Tole's friends is to be held in the Excelsior-hall, Karangahape, at eight o'clock, to take steps to facilitate his return as the representative of the district. On Saturday evening Mr. F. Lawry will address the electors of Franklin South in the church, East Pukekohe, at half-past seven o'clock. Mr. Lundon addressed a public meeting at Russell last night, giving an account of his stewardship, and afterwards reviling Mr. Hobbs, who, being present, asked permission from the chairman to refute the statements ; this Mr. Lundon objected to, stating that lie had paid for the hall. The meeting closed without any vote of confidence or thanks. Greymootit, Thursday. Mr. Joseph Petrie addressed a very large meeting here to-night at great length for nearly two hours. His politics are ultraLiberal. He was very well received throughout, and received a practically unanimous vote of confidence, only two hands being against it, and hundreds in favour of the resolution.
