RUSSELL. June 24.—The whaleship Alaska, Captain Fisher, is now ready for sen, and will sail the first fair wind. Arrived : lona, 8 a.m. Sailed : Whangarei, Venus. TAURANQA. June 24.—Arrived, 7.50 a.m., Hawea, s.s.; Ba.m., Government s.s. Hineaioa ; 11.45 a.m., Glenelg, s.s. ; all from Auckland. WELLINGTON. June 24.—Arrived; , Garabaldi, three-masted schooner, from Lyttolton to Hokitika. She put in to repair the damage caused by the recent gale. Sailed : Wakatipu, s.s., for the South. Captain Wheeler was presented with a very flattering address and 15 sovereigns by tho passengers, for the manner in which he handled tho steamer during the trying circumstances on the voyage. PORT CHALMERS. June 24.—Arrived : Arawata, s.s., from the Bluff and Wellington; and the s.s. Wellington. A steerage passenger by the Arawata jumped overboard at daybreak this morning. He was R. M. He was remanded for medical examination. Sailed: Eliza, McPhersou, and Ellerton; Shag, for Shag Point. , DUNEDIN. June 23.—Sailed: Maori, s.s., for the West Coasts ports, via Lyttelton ; Kestrel, ketch, for Catlins's River ; Arawata, s.s. Passengers : —For Lyttelton : Messrs. Percy anil Cameron. For Wellington : Mr. Warrell. For Nelson : Mr. Morris.
