A so-called Maori liaka or war-dance, was given on Thursday afternoon at the new ruuanya house, Parawai. A number of ladies were invited, and the chief of the Whakataneß guaranteed propriety on the occasiou, a promise which, we understand, was strictly observed. The dance was got up specially for the Count de Zaba, who was present, together with a large number of other spectators.
