CRICKET.
TRACES VERSUS AUCKLAND. A good display of cricket will be witnessed to day in the Domain between those two Clubs ; the goldfield players having arrived last night by the s.s. Durham. Kaoh team appear confident of success, and as each individual will do his utmost to sustain the honour of his Club, lovers of the willow, who patrouiso the ground with their presence, will do much to encourage the pla}*, and show a mark of respect to our visitors. A good wicket has been prepared, and the stumps will be pitched at half-past 10 o'clock, when it is expected every player will be at his post. The following are the teams — Thames : Crump (captain), Steadinan, Curtis, Hargreaves, Gellion, Whitford, .Robinson, Bull, Buttle, i. r oung, and Mac* donald. Auckland : Cotton, Williamson, Rees, Buckland, Bluuden, Coates, Cameron, Kent, Browning, \V. Philaon, and Garland.
