ALEXANDRA. Our annual sports came oft" on Friday, 20th ult. The day being favourable, many Europeans and natives gathered to see them. This race at first resulted in a dead heat between Matini and Rayner, and hail to be run over again, in which Matini came in winner. Roys' Race, under 12. Onekino I Grinning Through the Collar. J. Thompson .. .. .. .. .. l The grotesque faces made in this match created much amusement. Tii ree-Lkgi jed 1 Jack. Hughes and Kmery ..1 Foor qßace.— 300 yards. Kayner 1 Catching tiik Greasy Pig. This diverting hunt caused a great deal of amusement. The natives kept up the short but spirited chase with vigour, and ultimately caught their cloven-footed victim. Horse Race.—Half-mile heats.
