YESTERDAY'S SITTING. (Before Mr ,1. R. Bartholomew, S.M.) Drunk While in Charge of Vehicle. To a charge of being drunk while in charge of a vehicle on the Weston road on July 10th, Thomas McKone pleaded guilty. For the prosecution it was stated by Senior-Sergeant Stagpoole that the defendant was also driving without lights, thus aggravating the nature of the offence. A fine of £2, in default seven days' imprisonment, was imposed. Wandoring Cattle, For allowing cattle to wander on July Ist at l'apakaio, William Cassels was lined os, and Court costs !)s Gd, For allowing horses to wander; at Papakaio, John Cuff was fined ss. and Court costs fls (id. Alfred Geo. Baker, of North road, on a similar charge, was fined ss, and 7s Court costs.
