Further developments regarding the mysterious affair at Franktou on Sunday, when a returned soldier named i Thomas Henderson, of Oiiehunga, was found in an outhouse suffering from a serious wound in the side, show that Henderson purchased a ticket for Auckland at Palmerston North on Saturday. He left the train on arrival at Frankton early on Sunday morning, He was subsequently seen wandering about in a dazed condition. Inquiries tend to show that- the wound was inflicted at Palmerston North. The polite here are now communicating with that place. Henderson's condition is very grave.
