Mr D. Stronach reports : At the weekly ■ale to day, fat cattle were again in moderate ■upply. There wu a good inquiry from the trade, and prices may be quoted up to 22* 6d per 100 Ib. The higher quotations for best beef are 22a 6d to 25s per 100 Ib. Fat ■hoop — A Tery full supply was forward. Prices were well suppoited at a shade above last week's rates. Cross-breds told from 12s to 17s ; and merinos, 6s 6d to 7s. We quote prime mutton 2Jd to 2|d per lb.
