Passengers for Wellington : W. Dunford, T. Weston, H. Weston. For Napier: Messrs Kent and Reid. For Nelson : Mr Blackett. For Hokitika : Mr Bearer. For Auckland : Miss Warren ; Messrs J. Duncan and Weymouth. For Sydney : W. Simpson.

Timaru, Jan. 3. Cleared — Anazi, barque, for London, via Port Chalmers, with 3000 aks wheat.

Duneuin, Jan. 3. Messrs Shaw, Saville anil Co.'s chartered ship Norval, arrived at Port Chalmers at 11 o'clock last night, from London. Siuce her last visit here "Capt. Young, who was in command, has been shifted to the Eurydice, and ia succeeded by Capt. Halliday, whose first visit it is to New Zealand. The ship brings 48 passengers, and 2500 tons of cargo, of which 1200 tons are dead weight. She has also a valuable young Clydesdale entire called Kilbourie. The ship has made the passage from London in 90 days, and from the Scilly Islands in 82 days.

Wellington, Jan. 3. Arrived — Wanaka, from north. Later. The Wanaka will not sail till the Taiaroa arrives from the north, as she has to tranship passengers. It will be an early hour in the morning before she gets off.
