On Monday evening of last week | brothers of the Northern Star Lodge | held their usual fortnightly meeting, Bro. R. Michie, N.G., being in the j chair. After the meeting, Sisters of Koa Rebekah were the guests of the brothers at a flag five hundred evening. The first prize winners were Sister Timbers, Bro. R. Michie and Bro. L. Peace, and the travelling prizes were won by Sister M. McKinnon, Bro. J. Cowie and Bro. V. Brien. Sister Richter, Bro. L. Gallagher and Bro. H. Kirtlan received the consolation awards. Supper brought a very enjoyable evening to a close.
