WAINUI AHIPARA INSTITUTE MEETING
The March meeting of the WainuiAhipara Women’s Institute was held at Mrs. Stuart Masters’ residence, and a very pleasant afternoon was spent by the members. The roll call for the month was “How I met my Husband.” The competition for the month was a pot of plum jam and a worked d’oyley. Mrs. S. Masters took the winning prize for the jam, and Miss Zita Berghan first for the d’oyley, with Miss Zena Masters second. Another competition was won by Mrs. S. Masters. Afternoon tea brought the pleasant meeting to a close, the hostesses being Mrs. L. Masters and Miss M. Kirtlan.
