Removal of County Hospital
Board receives Authority to Commence work The Hospital Board have received authority from tlie Health Department to accept tlie tender of D. Provan, of Whangarei, for the removal of the County Hospital from Mangonui, and re-erec-tion at Kaitaia, with additional accommodation for ten beds, making the hospital a 54 bed institution. As tlie extra £SOO that will be required over and above tlie loan raised to carry out the additions lias been guaranteed it is anticipated that the work will commence most probably next week.
