Mangonui v. the Campers Tiie usual annual cricket match Mangonui versus the World was held at Cooper's Beach oil Saturday 30th when the M.C.C. defeated the Campers by 102 to 65. This has become ail annual event and is looked forward to with great interest. The ladies attached to the Club provided the lunch which was much appreciated. Mangonui v. Bay Cricket Match A Bay of Islands team played a Mangonui County eleven at Victoria Valley on Tuesday. Owing to a dislocation of the car arrangements the Bay team did not arrive on the field until eleven o’clock, so there was only time to play a one-innings match which resulted in Mangonui winning with a score of 77, the Bay team compiling 55.
